The AIR Jordan Retro 4 sneaker model was first released in 1989 and in 2024, it is currently the most successful model of the AIR Jordan brand. In a legendary basketball game in 1989, Michael Jordan scored against the Cleveland Cavaliers to secure victory for his team, the Bulls. Immediately after the shot, television cameras began focusing on the feet of Michael Jordan, who was wearing the AIR Jordan 4. His sneakers featured a full-length midsole, raised ankle, and forefoot support. On the air-cushioned heel was a large, bold Nike AIR logo. Today, this model is characterized by a grid on the upper part of the shoe and unique lace grips.
